Hacking New to wiiu hacking. Question about updates

Hi,
I am currently on WiiU system version 5.5.1. I have the homebrew channel succesfully installed through haxchi. I have installed Legend of Zelda BOW and its latest update through the WUP installer and it shows on my system menu. When I launch the game it goes to the title screen and then closes saying a system update is required to play the game. To my understanding I am on the latest system update? If someone could help with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You!

Did you install the V33 update? The older one requires CFW to work.

Yes, I installed the v33 update using wup installer the same way I installed the game.

Could it be because I installed the DLC but do not have CFW? I tried using Mocha CFW but i dont think im doing it right

Yes dlc will only work with cfw you need mocha or haxchi for it to work

It's coming in three stages stage one is out and adds three new chests to the game. Stage two is out in the spring and adds a new Dungeon. And stage three is out in December and adds a completely new story to the game.

If you're already using the Homebrew Channel through Haxchi, why don't you simply launch Mocha to play with the DLCs (aka, activate CFW) instead of reinstalling everything again?

A switch top for link and two weapons I think.

If you're already using the Homebrew Channel through Haxchi, why don't you simply launch Mocha to play with the DLCs (aka, activate CFW) instead of reinstalling everything again?

I tried this but I think im doing something wrong. It wouldnt work

Wel, is extremely easy:

>Open Homebrew Launcher
>Click on Mocha
>Click on Load
>Press A on the black screen
>Wait for it to launch
>Run anything (DLCs, Eshop only games, games from other regions)
>Profit

I tried this when I still ha the DLC's installed and was still getting the same error. Ill give it another try

Maybe you have to reinstall it in CFW. As you're not supposed to be able to install DLC and eShop only games at all without signature patches, I'm not sure how you were able to install it in the first place, but it's probably not installed correctly.
