I'm new to usb loaders and was wanting to know if the games are like 4 GB when they are on the USB device. Sorry if this is a stupit question

No, but more details:
A usb needs to be formatted to wbfs, (wbfs manager), and games on it wil be 1 gb max.
for example, nsmbw is around 500 mb

ok thanks guys. I see that in wiiflow there is something about downloading/trasfering games from disc and it tells me to put a wii game into my wii (which i'v not done yet) What exactly is this doing and is it ok to do this.

You haven't put a game in your Wii yet?

You probably mean the game installing function
If you insert a disc, you can use any usb loader to rip it to your hard drive

ok thanks yes thats what i'm talking about. If i do that will the game be the same size as on the DVD-R.
It should be its WBFS size. So not 4GB. (Unless it's Brawl or something lol)
