Gaming New to psp scene

I just bought psp value pack (coming tomorrow(must be fat)) and i'm looking for a way to mod it. I ordered pandoras battery and mc. Couldn't find tutorial anywhere exactly how to install CFW (i guess it would be GEN-D) using pandoras battery. How to make mmc for GEN-D?

If you mean must be fat as in its a 1000 then tahts okay if its a 3000 then that pandora and mms is useless.

Yeah it's a fat and 1000 something but thats not my point. My point is can i install 5.50 Gen-D straight away with pandoras battery or do i have to go to some m33 CFW first. I already read the guide deanxxczx linked but that installs 3.80 M33. So how to make mmc for GEN-D?

Its easier to go on chickHEN and use the XGEN installer to go onto GEN D.
