is there a fix for the wii shop channel yet or not yet?
Use DOP-SHOP or WiiSCU to update it.
(Those came out the day after the update or so)

Or is there another problem with the shop I missed?

I have built a TBR modification with integrated IOS41 installer: http://www.mediafire.com/?z1mzwegjjml

OMG, when are people going to learn that if you modify GPL code, you have to release modified source (not just a binary). It's not optional, it's required.
TBR's source is released under GNU GPL Version 2, if you don't know what that means, read it (here or in the COPYING file included with any GPL source).

You are wrong. Source must be provided on request. It does not have to be released with binary. This is clearly stated in the licence, I suggest you read it.

pretty funny talking about copyrights on a Let Us Help You Hack Your Console sub forum ...

iow who gives a fuck about some US agreement in an international community?

your own Wii/PC is probably full of Copyrighted stuff you didn't even pay for
Violating the GPL is worse than piracy.

It's possible to remod a Wii on system menu 4.3, when you have cIOS38 rev19 as IOS250 and a forwarder channel.
We are more concerned about modding a virgin Wii with system menu 4.3.
There is a solution but we still need a new HackMii to make things a lot less complicated.

OMG! I updated my Wii, and now the Homebrew Channel is gone! The backup loader channels won't work either! NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?

Look here to patch IOS36. Download IOS34 v3348 and install. Install Priiloader and enable Block JODI hack. Reinstall the hbc using the hackmii installer.

You can reinstall your cios using IOS36.

No need to patch IOS36 if he still has a working IOS250 installed

Thinking of just loading up an old nand backup since bootmii still is working unless someone knows another way.

ps: any channels like usbloader, wiimc, etc... are still working fine. Seems like only HBC is not loading

If you have ever installed IOS250 ,you should be able to use it for your backup loader
or use wad manager to install other IOS (EX: 249,70 ...4.2U system menu ....)
by using IOS250. (cause it won't be replaced by upgrading to 4.3)

Regarding HBC, you have several alternatives:

1. Re-install priiloader then use system menu hacks to protect HBC so you can use HackMii Installer
to install HBC again.

2. Use wad manager with IOS250 to install IOS70+system menu 4.2 then use HackMii installer

3. Find a patched system menu 4.3 (EX: Waninkoko's ) then use HackMii installer

Try reinstalling HBC.
How would i do that on 4.3?
by installing an older IOS61 first (or whichever one HBC uses noways)
what could i use to install it since i can not access the HBC?
Also is me getting this black screen the equivalent to having the HBC deleted through a regular update?
