Hacking New System Menu Update 4.3

i used nus to get full 4.3 update and i did get the scam screen but if you wait for awhile it will give you the push 1 button and then start. hbc is not upside down and the pointer instead of having the index finger as point it has the bird finger.

So my friend has a solderless modchip bought from shoptemp. That affected to? He's on 4.2U, if he updates, can the chip still work? Or should he not update?

tomarrow i will make a video of my sneek 4.3 nand with hbc on it and working. the scam screen comes on then you push the 1 button and it goes to hbc but the pointer on the hand is giving the finger. ill show everyone tomarrow.

not to sure if mentioned but does this update take away usb loader gx channel away not to sure if that counts as one of the title ids just iasking not planning to leave 4.2 anytime soon.

also mezut360 i see what you mean and i can't belive there are users of this site that update when a new update comes out.after updates like 4.2 i would think no one would update as soon as a new update comes.
i am not talking about people that update with sneek.(i never figured out how to use sneek)

also i guess since this update been out for a while now the dsi should be getting a new one to.

I have had issue with Indiana PWNS or Smash stack to load loadmii. Loadmii loads fine, but dop-mii loaded from loadmii crashes. I assume that dop-mii does not run well on ios55-3607, or perhaps any version of ios55. I have change my planed downgrade to use wadmanager instead, which I think always reloads ios36, where dop-mii does not reload on start. Still patiently waiting for results.

Is there an app that would reload the ios in loadmii? Say load loadmii in ios55, then reload into ios36 or even250, any ios you like sounds good to me. Is an app/forwarder like this possible and does one exist?

1) Because many users at GBATemp are noobs, and have no clue what to do when an update is out.
2) Because the an other small amount can think for themselves that there is no need to update, but watch the Thread for:

• The Lolz
• The Information about 4.3

For my part, I'm just interested in 4.3, and like to study Nintys behavior (and some total Noobs to laugh about are also not bad

Loadmii issue is not related to ios... The app just is not enough compatible to load every dol... Try recompiling dop-mii with the entry address changed...

I have hermes v5 cios, if I'll update to 4.3 and my ios249 will be removed can i use my ios 202/222/223/224 in dop-mii to patch ios36 and then install my ios249 back?
Does hermes cios has the ability to patch other ios's or only wanin's has that?

one more question: Is there any way to use the SmashStack exploit on other regions besides NTSC?

If I load Indiana PWNS via cIOS, loadmii loads, dop-mii loads without issue. People on 4.3 who load Indian PWNS from disk report loadmii loading fine, but dop-mii feezes at into screen. This is the same freeze that dop-mii gets if loaded from HBC with a corrupt ios36, so I assumed I must be related to the ios.

Recompiling is unfortunately beyond be at the moment.

instead of loadmii, why not try using WiiXplorer? It can load dols and much more

-I believe Hermes' can do that too, but I think some modifications need to be done to the patcher itself, to work with Hermes'. Please take this with caution, I'm not sure.

Nope, not yet.

Also, why bother upgrading to 4.3? There are no other fixes other that anti-homebrew measures.

Can cIOS/HBC/bootmii can be installed in IOS < 200 that have been stubbed by N?
I remember IOS60 and others that been stubbed along the time.

Would the change of slots provoke changes on code, or the impact would be minimal?

if u have any cIOS, u don't need to use TBR, u can use wad manager to install cIOSs (grab them in wad form using NUSAD), or u can use ATD to delete stubs then use the cIOS installers (just choose to use the cIOS u already have installed)

anyways, don't update, it wont be long until a fix is released (tbh, I'm surprised it hasn't been released already, when 4.2 came out, it only took 2 days for a new bannerbomb and a new hackmii installer... but w/e, I'm sure the brains behind those apps are working hard on fixes)
