Hacking new SuperCard Lite (MicroSD) (official)

I'll stick to my EZ4 Lite. The only problems I have with it are that DSOrganize does not work, NES/SNES DS doesn't save, and I have slowdown problems that I think could be fixed if I got an Ultra microSD card.

I prefer EZ4 because it has excellent GBA support, I can run the Mario Kart patch from the NOR memory, and Moonshell works just as well as it did on my Supercard.

ahhh poo... i just ordered one with a super key, and a 512 micro sd card, are you guys totally sure about the slowdown? (in DS games i mean) cuz i read on a post here that the software has a patcher to make it normal. also there is this video

but the ending makes it all seem very fishy

There is no slowdown in DS games as long as you have a flash memory card 60X or faster. I still think that video is fake but they tell me its real.

well i bought the micro sd from amazon and it didnt have any speed rating. the only one that had a rating of 66 was 1gig and too expensive plus anyway amazon said it couldnt ship it to where i live. aw man now im very dissapointed because im hyped up to play shaberu cooking navi on it, and that game has alot of video tutorials

What type of microSD? Link? Hopefully the slowdown will be minimal but I can't see that happening since its mostly video.

Here's the link, although when i bought it there was only one left by the seller "comp-u-plus rockland" now its a different seller because rockland ran out. it may even show a different picture of a "gruvy" branded model. but when i bought it the picture was just of the standard sandisk model.

edit: i noticed the model is "SDSDQ-512-A10M" maybe the 10m at the end is the transfer rate? is 10m enough?

I've got the 1GB version of this (SDSDQ-1024-A10M), according to the test results it's 8.2M. Some people have reported that these work fine using the SCLite patching software so will wait til mine arrives shortly and find out

I have that card as well. Anybody know the speed ratings and access times for these? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The speed rating of that Sandisk s normal microSD standards of 12X 1.8MB/sec. I wouldn't suggest this card as there is slowdown even with the SuperCard Lite, although not as bad as in the past when using a slower rated card with the SuperCard miniSD/SD. Using slow media with the older cards was lag city but the new SuperCard has found away around this.

If you're only playing NDS games and don't mind the tiny amount of lag when loading etc. get a normal micro sd. I use a regular Sandisk Mini SD with my Supercard Mini SD and I can play most games fine. Sneef over at SCDev.org uses a regular sandisk micro sd with his lite and says the games are more playable than ihis wives supercard mini sd with 60x card. So if you're not planning on playing the few games that lag e.g Tony Hawks, Animal Crossing in some areas and GBA games then by all means get a regular card.
