Gaming New Super Mario U Nintendo Select Version

I know the game only came out today (16th of April) but does anyone know if this version you have to download New Super Luigi U or is it on a disc?

Luigi U is a standalone add-on. It is not on the disc.

I'm guessing it will be on disc, don't think Nintendo usually makes you download content unless its bought directly through eshop. Correct me I'm wrong. Also doesn't say "downloadable DLC on cover"

what i don't like about the whole "new" super mario bros games , is that it feels like you are buying the same game over and over but with dlc added on it (more levels , bosses , characters , etc etc) feels likes capcom's take on SF4
SF4 -> SSF4 -> SSF4AE same game but with dlc .
