As have I, but I was more or less referring to the fact that you said it was a remake of both Sonic 1 and 2. Just because the game is a 2D platforming Sonic game that has Green Hill Zone as a Zone doesn't make it a remake or a rehash. Thanks for the other stuff though.
You misunderstand me. I was saying that this first level looks like a remake of Sonic 1 only.
I mentioned Sonic 2 because... the last 2D sonic game was Sonic 4 and it's clearly a rehash of Sonic 2. That’s why I say...
"why they just don’t make a NEW 2D Sonic game that is not a rehash of Sonic 2??" in reference to Sonic 4.
The thing is, it doesn't look look like a remake of Sonic 1. Not at all.

Well ..looks like a reinterpretation to me... don't you think?
You mean the 1st level?

I mean the Sonic 1 proposal
Which is...?

Let me turn the question to you, if you allow me

, ...how would you describe the relation between this game and Sonic 1? ...my opinion about this is pretty standard, but I think you have a point to make there...

edit:
My point was something like: They make a mix with old and new elements ( visuals and gameplay)... ...they use only some elements of the past, but using the right ones (may be just a few, but they are great part of the ones most remembered by the masses) makes it a believable nostalgic game.

Simple. This is a fanservice game and the remake of Green Hill Zone will likely be the only level or one of few levels from Sonic 1 to be remade for the sake of the fans. That's my observation, anyway.

I got it. ....They seem to be picking levels from numerous games from the past. Each game may have a limited appearance, though.

I like the Sonic werehog levels of unleashed. It's the other levels has normal sonic that sucked. They had you moving way too fast to control the little focker! I bet the levels of generations are going to be just as bad doubled! I can already see in the trailers, both sonic levels have impossible jumping and super speeding. Sega go to hell.

Well it is Sonic, I don't see why you wouldn't expect him to go fast.

There's a difference between fast and too fast. The classic games had just the right mix of speed and slowness. Sonic Colors did better than Unleashed in terms of speed, it was never too fast that you couldn't react to stuff. Unleashed is just nuts at times though and very disorienting.
