I wasn't sure where to put this, but I think this is fine. So I went to a gaming convention yesterday, and I found some pretty nice items. Some quite normal, some a little more unusual, but I got all of them for (what I think are) good deals. Waring: Lots of photo's. Warning: Spoilers inside! First a boxed NES game called Swords & Serpents: I bought this for 2.50 euro's Next the unlicensed NES game Mig-29: With an unusual switch in the back (it's in the indentation on the cart) The switch is apparently used to switch between PAL and NTSC mode. This one was 7 euro's Then I have the Atari 2600 game Warlords. Which is not that unusual or rare, but I love this game: The price on this one was 1.50 euro's Along with the game I bought this Atari 2600 (which came with the game Defender) for 4 euro's: (Altough, to be fair, I technically did not buy this on the convention. I bought it from another guy outside.) Next is a Commodore 64 game: It cost me a measly 5 euro's I also bought this Zelda for 20 euro's These super famicom games were also dirt cheap (3 euro's for Street Fighter II, and 2 for Yakouchuu): (I'm not showing the acual game because the box is in pristine condition, and I'm concerned about damaging it. But the game and booklet are in the same condition as the box.) I had never seen these before (I did not know they existed to be honest), but for 10 euro's, I wasn't going to pass this up: In addition I bought the Game Boy Player for 15 euro's (which I think is the average price these days). I got this controller with the item I'm showing after this: Now on it's own it's nothing special, but, as the next photo shows, the control stick on this one is unusual: I'm not sure if this is an actual (official) version of the controlstick, or a weird replacement, but it feels like it'll last longer than the regular one. The next thing I bought is in this box (which I bought last week): It's an actual Doctor V64, Which I bought for 50 euro's. The NTSC N64 and Mario 64 were also included. The only problem is that it did not come with a power supply, but even so, I was really thrilled by this baby. There was much, much more. But those were not exactly good deals (especially not the opened Conker's bad Fur day, which was being sold for 185 euro's (and I'm not kidding)). I just got lucky that the guy who sold me most of this stuff wanted to get rid of it quickly, so I could get it cheap. So what do you think, did I make some good deals, or did I fuck up on a deal?
