I wasn't sure where to put this, but I think this is fine.
So I went to a gaming convention yesterday, and I found some pretty nice items. Some quite normal, some a little more unusual, but I got all of them for (what I think are) good deals.
    Waring: Lots of photo's.
    Warning: Spoilers inside!
There was much, much more. But those were not exactly good deals (especially not the opened Conker's bad Fur day, which was being sold for 185 euro's (and I'm not kidding)). I just got lucky that the guy who sold me most of this stuff wanted to get rid of it quickly, so I could get it cheap.

So what do you think, did I make some good deals, or did I fuck up on a deal?

I don't understand what you think is strange about the N64 controller. You mean the octagon grid is made of better material?

No the control stick itself is unusual. Normally it's like the stick in this image, but, as you can see, mine is different.
They had the game boxed, but , unfortunately, that was the same stand that had Conker so I didn't even ask.

    Also:

    > Buy Doctor V64
    > Buy OOT on cartridge.
    > Consider buying CBFD on cartridge.

Nintendo won't make any money off your purchases of those games anymore, so there's no ethical issue with pirating them, and you have a machine that can let your N64 run ROMs. So.. you want them purely for your collection?

That's just a replacement stick modeled after the Gamecube stick, good thing too, as normal n64 sticks are crap.
They were also used on Hori n64 controllers made at the end of the consoles lifetime. Been thinking about buying some of these sticks on eBay since they're like $7 USD.

I'm Jealous that you didn't have to replace the stick yourself. :glare:

I see, well I got it for free so I'm happy either way :P .
    Yeah, pretty much.

I know, when I first saw it I was like, no fucking way, this can't be what I think it is. And when the guy said 50 euro's all I could think was I got to have it. Imagine my suprise when he actually included the N64 with a game, rgb cable, and controller for that price.

Well the power supply is supposedly nothing more than a computer psu combined with a s-video out, so I could fabricate it myself without too much hassle. Still I can order a power supply for 20-30 euro's so that might be the better option (once I have some money).

That n64 controller looks pretty neat. It doesn't look like the normal "weak stick" style.

Yeah, it feels like it's better too.
To be fair, the Zelda cartridge is not a NTSC 1.0 cartridge, it's actually an australian PAL collector's edition. So, while still somewhat rare, it's not as rare as the NTSC ones.

It really is, and the so called 'game' that's included on the cartridge is even worse. Still, as a novelty item it's pretty cool (especially as they seem to be going for 30-40 euro's).
