silver slim psp 3001 with firmware 4.20.

how can i know what motherboard info is it?

just noticed the 4.XX firmware and i thought that it's a typo. I thought all PSP 3000 are 5.03 loaded?

in my database, all 4.XX PSP are PSP 200x.

EDIT: after a quick google on "PSP 3000 4.20" it's been confirmed that his/her PSP is a 3000. sorry for the inconvenience

run chickHEN and use this tool

got 5.30 installed then r2 installed.

now that that is done were to with that?

no problem as long as you will not brick your PSP 3000. I bricked my uncle's TA-088v3 PSP 2006 so Im very careful with these PSPs.

if you are already in custom firmware, DO NOT RUN the program I linked. First, if you check your motherboard, it will freeze resulting in reboot and you're back to OFW 5.03 again

you can use PSPident to check your motherboard. it's first used when installing CFW on PSP.

Like I said, yours will be TA-090v2 so need to know what your motherboard is.

CFW Enabler 3.30 is fine, I think. But I dont know how to use it as I dont have a 3000. wether or not it can install 5.50 GEN on it, I would be amazed
