Hello guys, I'm new here and I need help sorry for my bad English :glare:

I keep having the (0) error,

I did all they said to do on the website and it keep saying that.

Please someone, help me.

I don't think any users have encountered that error.

Even so, it is probably not something we can help you with.

troubleshooting:
1. ensure you allowed the program through your firewall
2. ensure the usb cable isn't broken or anything (try switching cables)
3. try with other games to see if the issue to related to connectivity with one game
4. ensure you keyed in your email and serial key correctly
5. ensure you are connected to internet for nand saving games (such as pokemon)

if you still encounter the error after the 'troubleshooting' as mentioned above,
contact Datel.

Nothing we measly users could do for ya ><

Alright, well, it's mostly for general advice in regards to being safe with it and not screwing up along with a question on Pokémon X/Y.

See, in regards to Pokémon, at the moment I only plan to use it for Backup saves and cloning through PokéBank, so I'm not really going to use any codes for the time being with that game. Thing is, I heard from a friend that people have had problems with the game, even more so those with Pokémon X. He also goes on to say that there's this thing that happens when overwriting your game's save [either when using a backed up save or putting a code on] where it might add 1 byte extra that will completely brick the game, and it's a random bug. Now, I've read a couple of the threads online where people have had their games bricked and the like, but it's always been through some code misuse [using too many at ones, using some of the risky ones, etc] or something of the like, never have I found something stating what he said.

So, I'd like to know if that really is true or not or about any other risks I could encounter while using it. Because although I'd have no problem testing it out, my copy of Y is digital and I planned to use my sister's X until Omega Ruby is out and supported.

Aside from that I'd also really like any and all advice in just being safe with it, what to avoid, what not to do and just general stuff on not screwing up when using it. I at least know to use a different USB cable, since I've read about that almost everywhere, but other than that all advice would definitely be appreciated!

just be sure you have good constant internet
and a good cable USB and port
and make sure nothing interrupt the program from uploading and downloading

The constant internet sounds terrifying. The internet on its own is really good, but the router tends to reboot on its own at least 2 or 3 times in a day. Might just turn it off and on every time I use it just to be sure it won't turn off randomly. Definitely good to know, thanks!

There have been reports of bricked cards dont use too many at the same time

I won't, at the moment I only have planned to use X [maybe] and Omega Ruby once its out. ^^

I wonder why Datel still hasn't added anything for Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal? You'd think they would have by now, Lego Batman 3 came out on the same day and it already has codes.

I've had the internet connection crap out while using PowerSaves quite often. With it giving me errors while trying to upload or download the save. But never had it brick or do anything odd to the game cart. Many times I used multiple codes at once without issue. Of coarse I no longer use the original USB cable. it's too damn short. I used a longer one and taped the dongle to the side of my PC tower. It's super stable and easy to use now. Can insert and pull the cartridge in/out with just one hand.

I would assume that if the internet stops working during the writing cart stage, the program would ignore that until it finishes, then would display an error. I don't think PowerSaves would be dumb enough to allow it to interrupt a write sequence if the internet connection is interrupted.

I think perhaps the bricking reports were from defective parts either the cartridge itself or the dongle. If you are afraid it might brick, just pokebank all your important stuff first. Then after a few days of using it and nothing bad happens, you're pretty much in the clear. ;)

I can also confirm that Hoopa is no longer usable in any online battle or trade. Seems Nintendo caught on. I even got my hands on a GTS Hoopa that didn't have it's ribbon. I was going to clone and wondertrade it for WTW. But nope. Nintendo pulled the plug on that.

Latiosite/Latiasite however still works online and remains tradable. Unlike Pokemon, current gen games still can't track where items came from, so once you have them, it's only a matter of the street date preventing them from being used. Since ORAS is close to release, they updated the servers to allow the new mega stones. Since Latiasite/Latiosite is already in X/Y, a side effect of that is that those can be used now. I think Hoopa working for a day was a mistake while they were updating the server checks. :P

And given the ORAS leaks floating around, Hoopa might not even be an event pokemon. Might be a story line pokemon you can catch ingame. Which will be badass if that is the case. Event pokemon are just annoying as **k to get a hold of. Volcanion I don't know though. That one might be an event to be released at a later date for ORAS. Perhaps even a hold-over for when Pokemon Z comes out.
