Hello everyone,

I am Alexandre from France, and I am a big Pokémon fan and also polyglot (English, German, Russian, etc).

I use to play Pokémon ROMs on my computer, I find it addictive and the scripts are really nice - in all the languages I have used so far

So, I came over here with a question: do you think there any way to extract the text scripts from a ROM (like Pokémon Red, Silver, Ruby, Diamond, all generations..)?

It must be contained somewhere in the code of the game, even converted to a ROM.

Sorry to begin with a question in my introduction. If you think I can find a thread more appropriate, I am ready to go there and ask!

I would say you better start a thread in the appropriate section, there's several knowledgeable members that might be able to help you.

Do you have any idea where the ROM section could be?

That depends on what platform your question is centralised.
eg: 3ds would be in 3ds ROM hacking and translations.
