Doesn't look too bad actually, looks different to what most people are doing with their Mario games.

If someone could do a decent translation of the text it would be helpful as web translators always come out as gibberish for me. I got this news off dcemu.

Not that good in French, but the text doesn't say much about the game itself, just about what the developer has been busy with and such.
"No, I'm not dead, I've been busy with focussing on my secret project, of which I think it is the largest and the most ambitious one of my homebrews. My older projects aren't dead, but for the moment, joining a compo ...?, I'm motivated to finish one. For now platform platform platform !!!
As a primethingy you have the right for a screenshot of my famous project I've been busy for approximately 2 weeks:
[screen here]"

He doesn't say anything particular, just posts these screens from a "secret" (why post it on teh intarnets if it's secret, beats me) project.

Looks like it might be decent. Though the pipes could use some work.

Do you even have to negate him? I mean, duh. And how does it use the Paper Mario engine exactly? Cos it doesn't - get you terms straight.

BTW, here's an imperfect, but close translation from my sis:

"No, I'm not dead, I (something) that for the instant I am concentrating on my secret project..
I think that it's probably the most ambitious of all my homebrew...
My old projects are not dead, but I need some motivation to finish them???
Right now, though, it's all about platform, platform, platform!
Here you have on the the right, on a screen of my famous project on the way since about 2 weeks ago."

loved to have seen mario bros 3D on the atari, i think its 2 different pics 1st one of an original new super mario bros
and 2nd pic of the homebrew virsion pics for example thats what i think any way.
right )ust noticed mario in pic one is from the nes mario bros so you never know. and if i remember rightly was there a 3d )ap virsion of maro on retro console

If I can help in translation :

"No I'm not dead, I admit that I'm focusing on my secret project at the moment since I think this is the most ambitious of all of my homebrews. My old projects aren't dead but I just put them aside waiting for a competition if I ever get some motivation to finish at least one of them. Now it's platform, platform, platform !!!
Here is a screenshot of my famous project I've been working on since 2 weeks."

Interesting.. The Paper Mario engine; doesn't really make sense because Mario is originally 3d ._.

originally 3D? are you retarded or being badly sarcastic? mario, as everyone knows, was originally 2D.

Okay what I meant was: Mario is meant to be 3 dimensional (whether this is shown in games or not is not relevant now), while Paper Mario is meant to be planar/2dimensional.

I don't mean paper mario engine in the same sense as somebody would describe the Unreal Engine (or otherwise), but rather a conceptual idea surrounding Paper Mario for Wii.
