In any case, there may be some odd compatibility issues here and there, but I don't know a card out there that DOESN'T. That being said, I think the primary issues in DHJ stem from the speed of the MicroSD, and not from something the R4 team has or hasn't done. My guess is that both of those games use some special high-speed memory, and instead of loading all assets at once, they are constantly streaming from the card when racers are on-screen. It would explain a lot, as the original card would be able to access fast enough, but the MicroSD would not be able to load all the data in time to keep the speed up.

Thats what I thought at first, but other carts that use microsd don't have speed issues with it (although some do have graphical glitches)..

well i just think no worth releasing firmware just to give some kids some ability to just customize so. wow. if there is no any fixes for not working games or any explanation why not i wont update this firmware...

Wow! Thanks for the compliment, although most don't still call those over 50 years old, "Kids" - they call us "Adults" or even "Old-People".

I for one, welcome the possibility to play 99% of the 900+ games available... and to play them on just one brand flash-cart, without any issues at all.

It also seems that you found a solution to your problem, in that you just wont update your firmware. I am glad that everyone on this site is smart enough to help each other out in a positive manner and/or willing to support others who need a bit of help - gbatemp.net rocks!!

If it matters any, i call people over the age of 30 "old-people" and adults are 25-29. Im still a kid tho (15)
too bad i never took part in the "customization" the old kernel gave us... maybe i will now? Never know...

It's a good thing you adjust as you get older. I call people over 60 old people. Adults are people 35 to 50, and kids are everyone else. I think society has allowed kids to be kids a little longer than it used to.

... Ages 51 to 59 are kids then? O.o

And I'm just waiting for an R4 update that runs my life for me, so i can be free to do other things, like... play DS roms.

Moonshell won't go back to the main menu when I press the start button on mine (with the new kernel). :'(

Well i am sure you can do it manualy just like i did on my SCLite. Click on the o button in Moonshell in the top left coner and then customize followed by second tab options in which you need to select an option which i can not remember for now as i am at work regarding reset.

When you click on reset from that o menu it should take you back to the main menu. TRY IT

n00b here
I tried to go into Moonshell the windows start button image is it suppose to do something?

Also when it asked me to reset I select soft and then it gets stuck in blue screen saying cart not supported or something?

thanks
