Ok, I learned this the hard way. Don't press "Home" in the Homebrew Menu (if it is set to an app). Closing it crashes the system

Already running it, so far so good.
Boot9strap 1.2's installation was easy and so was Luma 8.0

However Decrypt9 doesn't work with this version and whenever I try to boot a 3DSX. app, it always kickes me a ARM11 exception error screen, pretty sure this is just plain incompatibility just waiting to be fixed but I am glad to see that the Homebrew Launcher boots up fast and acts like a 3DS game, welcome to the future I guess.

Decrypt9 version that works with this:

How do you start the .3dsx payload? I have copied the boot.3dsx to my root but don't know how to access it. It's too late and i should be sleeping, but wanna try this before I do sleep

Is there any way to update from a9lh to boot9strap that works? It never reboots when you go into safehax

  • By default, the title used to boot boot.3dsx is hblauncher_loader, but this can be changed at any time (Miscellaneous options > Switch the hb. title to the current app.) : simply launch any title, use that option, close the title ; the next time you launch that title, it will run boot.3dsx

Nothing happens when i touch the wrench icon in the new homebrew menu. Is that supposed to happen?
Mine shows an arrow pointing to the home button. Assuming there are no options yet to set.

Edit: Does anybody know if setting the hb title to another app will make that app show up in activity log any time we load homebrew, instead of download play?

I had the same happen to me.

And no, it will still show homebrew launcher because the cia is used as a base for the 3dsx

Damn, this is noice. I like the startup and the way it uses system font. :)

Also why is the wrench icon doing nothing aside suddenly scrolling up when I tap?

Edit:
What does the new hbmenu look like? Anyone got any screenshots?
