I made a OSX skin, lol, at least the iPhone's OSX. 8% Represent!

you won't get viruses since there aren't any for OSX! GOD told me to post a picture just in case

If you were really able to scroll through DS boxart like that, I'd be so cool.

I have decided I like the 2.2 firmware better...besides the purple screen ...with 2.2 you go strait to your games menu which is what I do with my G6Real...with 2.3 you have a goofy menu screen that I personally will probably never use except to clip the games button.....

>_>

You know, because anyone who gets a G6 will ONLY use it for games.

C'mon, homebrew, 3in1, media, and settings. Whatevery ou need to do right from the start, no loading the games menu instead of what you want. I like it.

I wouldn't say it was a bug. It is designed that way, after all.
I called it a bug on purpose to be sarcastic. Of course it was designed that way and the design decision was a silly mistake (i.e. a bug). At least provide an option to change the default start screen. The new default screen is only appropriate for the firmware/skin designers to gaze lovingly at their creation. The rest of us just want to see the good stuff

And please fix the ordering bug!

As far as I can tell, it's exactly the same except that there are 2 files missing fom the handheldsources.com link:

boot.ini and G6DS.ini

EDIT: They're automatically made anyway right?

Yes exactly as you say.

The only "difference" i see is in the "gba-nds" firmware when you extract the system folder is in capital letters "SYSTEM" and in the handheld sources is in small letters "system"

Yes huge difference!

I didn't test it yet though.

1. The default order of file listing is in the order the files are copied onto the card (files copied later will be by default placed at the bottom of the list, requiring you select sort by name as a temporary solution (returns back to chronological listing at hard reset)).

By the way that is fixable on carts that list files this way. Use MCTool (NDS homebrew).

Kinda off topic, but why the heck are peple so obsessed with making windows themed skins

Because they like their flashcart failing

They are hoping on seeing the famous "Blue Screen"

But instead they got the purple.... awwwwwww

I have noticed the same thing when I first upgraded the firmware. Now I just copy paste on the usb card so what is old replaces and .ini,.. stays there if it is not in the new firmware file.

does it create it automatically?

Rune Factory doesn't work for me on the 2.3 firmware.

Works perfectly on 2.2.

My personal opinion is also that I experience 2.3 as overly slow in many ways.

2.3 is on the official site now and it isn't the same, a couple of the files are slightly bigger and the modified date is different. Hmm.

Only thing different seems to be the purple screen when loading roms only appears for a split second, faster rom loading? I have no idea.

Well I don't think the magenta screen is intentional, it's probably a bug associated with the menu switching stuff

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Are there certain games that this purple screen shows up with?
