New DS Linker - GD Flash

Slot-1 device, built in NAND flash

A new DS linker has shown up on YYJoy, going by the name of "GD Flash". It looks strikingly similar to the Ultra FlashPass and NDSGBA1:1.
Barely anything is known about this new linker. YYJoy state that a review sample showed up on their doorstep like an abandoned baby. The cart currently comes in two flavours, a 1Gbit and 512Mbit. The manufacturer says that 4Gbit, 8Gbit and even a micro SD version will follow depending on the cards initial success.

The card will be available in China before Christmas. The 1Gbit version will retail for about $35 and the 512Mbit for $22. Remember you get what you pay for!

We'll post more information on this card as we get it.

Well, it's a good and cheap option to have if I say own a Supercard but would like to use the DS Browser, no?

Haha.. how weird, wonder if it's good.

It is really borderline if you'll be able to put a 1 gbit game on that card, since the formatting takes away some space. I would have liked them to at least make it 2 gbit.

Anyway, the game menu looks nice and it is promising that they have Tony Hawk's latest on there. And not to mention the price tag!

I call this a well made marketing stunt

. A lot of people are talking about it now and more so then with an announcement (think of the other cards like the NDS1:1).

if it'll play the hacked opera, it looks good enough 4 me
though its not likely to b a problem i hope it has sleep mode support

What even fits on this?
1 512Mbit game and 2 or 3 really small games?

Bah, why even bother.
