how to assign a new drive blu-ray to the PS4 console where the key on the motherboard is located

Afaik you cannot remarry the drive... yet.

Looking online I found a guy who sapped a drive on a 1215a (1200) without needing any keys or anything, he states that the replacement drive DIDNT have the circuitry for anything but the power/eject mechanism on the drive.

OP which model are you replacing?
