It's been 4 years in the making, but Deus Ex : New Vision is finally seeing the light of day in it's full form. With around 75% of the world textures remastered at high definition, the project is finally complete - and is available to download right now!

You know I still haven't played the original game, though that one total conversion mod I saw did get my interest a bit.

Anybody mind telling me why it's so great and convince me to play it?

Hmm, I think this video may convince you, it is very thorough and he is a well respected youtuber, TotalHalibut/TotalBiscuit, you may or may not have heard of him. Warning, video is almost 2 hours long, but if lucky, the first 10 minutes will convince you.

Makes me want to play it again for about the 5th time. Always keeps me entertained, possibly one of the best games of it's time and seriously underrated in some magazines. "It's not HL, so it sucks balls". Yeah right.

Now to install Deus Ex again :3

Wow. This makes me want to play the game so badly. I'm tempted to buy it on Steam right now.
You sure it'll work with a steam copy?
It works with the Steam version.

To anyone on the fence about the game in general, get it. It's amazing, even if you don't use any graphical mods. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (a prequel) also comes out this month, which is looking very nice.

Okay, the fact that it works with the Steam version cracked me. I just bought it. Waiting for it to finish downloading now. I'm probably gonna buy Human Revolution as well.
