XFire is only worth it either with APU, or between 78xx and 79xx series.I already have the video card.
EDIT: I read I can crossfire with a 7750 or a 7770 with my card as well.

Are you asking that if sales on US Newegg applies to CA Newegg? Can I buy with the sales on the US Newegg?

Memory speed does not cause incompatibility issue. As long it is DDR3 it can be used. You can most certainly use 1066 with Ivy Bridge. Whoever told you that slower DDR3 can't be used is misinformed.EDIT: I can't use Ivy Bridge, because none of them support 1066 RAM, have to use Sandy.

Half those parts I already have and are recycling from my old build, and my copy of is also acquired. If I were you, then, I'd dump the OS, and either buy it through and employer/school for cheapies, wait for a sale, or else just find a copy of the OS you want by "other means." That's an awful huge chunk of money that's going to one thing in specific, which could go to getting you a better processor, or else saving you $150.

Difference between them is dual core vs quad core. Both i3 and i5 can handle 4 threads, but one is using HyperThreading while the other is true quad core. How much of a difference would this i5 be vs the 3220?

If you do a lot of multimedia (photo/video) editing, then i5 does benefit you.I do a lot of work in PhotoShop, would the physical cores benefit me?
just curious, since you just put out benchmark as your reference
do you have problems with certain games? (low fps?or anything?)
CPU maybe old, but not that underpowered either.
we're kinda in the same boat, I'll wait till all next gen consoles out then probably start to invest to new gaming rig.

I don't get low fps, I'd just like to have more upgradability, having the 1155 socket, and even better performance.just curious, since you just put out benchmark as your reference

Are you talking to me? I don't see any benchmark?

I already knew that they're moving to 1150well, I read lot's of rumors Intel will be moving to new socket.
might not be true... be seeing Intel behavior for the past few years (which I don't even knew they already produces 3 different kind of socket)
so... upgradebility (as in future proof) is really depends how much you want to spent.
