Hardware new 3ds xl plate with SD access

Hi, I was wondering if there were on the market any kind of
new 3ds xl plate that allow you to access to your micro SD card
without unscrewing the whole plate.

I'm thinking about cutting through the plastic but it would look
kinda ugly.

this methots not working on Windows 10. OS must be 7, 8 or 8.1 and also it's not working stable even on Win7 or 8. This methot really useful if would work fine on Windows 10, I don't understand why nintendo do nothing about this, they are always relase new updates but never fix this problem.

You may try to use hbw FTP apps with Filezilla if you are already hacked your device. I really hate this methot aswell, cus when I try to transfer large or multiple files it giving several error and messing up everything.

MicroSD card management is causing problems on many devices. You can dig in web if want to see. If it's works for you, you're lucky.

take out the screws, then you can use it just attaching the plate


or you can sue something like that and place outside the plate, but not sure that it gonna looks good XD

I think most users use an ftp homebrew app. I use superftp turbo. I was able to use my android tablet to ftp into the 3ds. I soon realized it's just as much of a pain to ftp as it is to remove the sd card. Also, ftp has slow transfer speeds. I used turbo as my app on android, if anyone was wondering.

It works fine on my machine too and i have the lastest updates from microsoft

In personal experience, FTP is a lot faster than the official management app. It also works more consistently and reliably.

FTP and Micro SD Management are REALLY slow. Just pop the back off and transfer files.

I have also the same problem. Don´t know why but on Window 10 always have problems. I´m tired of unscrewing the back, over and over. Man.

Buy a screw driver or just use FTP
