I think i bricked my 3ds. I modified my LocalFriendCodeSeed_B and re injected into sysnad. Now I have a black screen. What are my options to fix this?

Edit: Through further research it seems like I soft bricked my 3ds. I can boot my 3ds to recovery mode. Is updating to the latest firmware my only option to fix this cause it seems like it.

How did you injected to your sysnand? What tools did you use?

What configuration do you have? menuhax+ Emunand or A9LH+Luma?

Do you have a previous SysNAND backup?

Is the black screens on boot or when you try to launch the Emunand? (Since you said that you injected to your SysNAND, I'm assuming it's on boot).

If it is, and you can run Recovery mode, you can update it but you'll be on latest FW and your emunand won't work anymore (no CFW on 11+).
To downgrade it, you'll need to do a DSiware downgrade (with another hacked console) and you can then install A9LH to it and restore a emuNAND or sysNAND backup that you have.

OR you can hardmod it and restore a previous SysNAND backup if you have (before you injected whatever)

What I don't know is: if a System Update will clear that type of errors (LocalFriendCodeSeed_B AFAIK is only cleared when you system format, NOT system update).

Maybe someone else can give some input about your situation but I think this is your only options.

Black screen is on boot. I have also come to the conclusion that recovery mode is the best for me through further researching. Guess I will just go recovery mode and hope that it fixes it. I don't want to hardmod since that sounds scary. I have 2 other cfw 3ds anyways so I'll just use one of those to Dsiware downgrade, but man will it be a pain to reinstall everything again!

Anyways thanks for your input Cravas! I really appreciate your input.:)

Dam my 3ds wont system update. I don't remember if I enabled tubehax, but from the failed attempts of trying to update seems to point to me enabling tubehax. Is hardmodding my only option left?
