Hardware New 3DS clear cover plates

Has anyone found any completely transparent (not tinted) cover plates for the New 3DS? I want to print my own graphics for the cover plate but don't want them tinted by the translucent plates.

Hah! I think this was my first ever post on this site I've just done a quick Google search and it seems there still aren't any. It would be great if somebody could 3D print n3DS faceplates.

some people have but it was really expensive lol and that was for solid white to paint on.

why clear plates? the only reason i would see that for is to place photos or printed stuff behind the plate

I know where your coming from, I have the transparent pink/ green imported. I put pictures of the kids behind them. Would have looked 1000x nicer if they were just clear.

When you see that I can't even find the official Boo cover plate...
If it's released a day, just buy it day-one lol...

Rather than getting replacement plates, why not just get one of the clear hard shells and decorate that? That way, if you get bored of your design, you can replace the shell. You can get them pretty cheaply on eBay or Amazon.
