Hardware New 3DS Back cover

So i've been going around unscrewed for a few weeks, and the door has stayed in place. Anyone else have an experience with not keeping the screws in? I find it makes accessing the micro SD way easier.

I don't screw my back cover on for the same reason, and for access to my hardmod. I have had it that way for months without incident. The only way I would imagine it not holding is if it were to be dropped.

I've been doing that for the past 2 months, makes life a whole lot easier and the lid seems to have no problem staying in place by itself.
