Just curious,is this game worth the time it would take me to dl on dial-up?

NO! Definately... unless you want to play it on a language other than english or japanese, don't download it, get the 1309 release instead.

The english voice actors make it not worth, specially if you're in dial-up ^^,
And I recommend the same for all the others who didn't played 1309 before, because it DOES have english language in it, the wait was useless

... Unless maybe you prefer english-dubbed characters?

can seem to select some of the attact techniques etc. on my robot

You can't equip everything you want on Emerl first because he has no room for the skills. Keep battling with him and you'll get the number to increrease, thus allowing you to equip more stuff into him.
On the header of each card is a number of stars, make it X5 and you have the memory needed to equip it. The current number can be viewed at the top of the screen

This game is terrible, as was the jap release. So does Sonic Heros for the xbox.
