During their panel at Anime Expo this week, Netflix announced the date at which the second season of the animated Castlevania series will premier. The new season of the animated adaptation of the video game series will air starting October 26 and will consist of 8 episodes.

Warren Ellis will be handling the writing for the show once again while Adi Shankar will be reprising his role as producer.

Haven't watched the first season because I don't have Netflix. Holy crap that actually looks pretty close to Alucard from SOTN. Might have to check it out since I kinda forgot about it. Hope its as good as Cobra Kai for being none cable tv shows. Im starting to think thats where the good stuff is anymore. Seems like television forgot how to make good tv.

Season One's animation was the generic "quality" one would expect from an anime now a days.
The story fell very short of my expectations, and I can't say I'm eager to check this season out in the slightest.
I am content Blood and both Vampire Hunter D's, but was hopeful for this project.
