Hacking netflix on eur console doesn't work?

is it normal that the usa netflix app w/ region free on a eur 3ds won't connect to netflix?

It's probably the geoblock. It may work inside the US, but the servers won't talk to anyone outside.

Really? Maybe the fixed the loophole... They definitely don't want anyone outside the US to use it though. Are you really living on the Bahamas? Are they exempt from the Geoblock (i.e. does it work on your computer?) Why use a european console then?

I live in europe, I just don't want to reveal my exact location so I chose a random country from the list when making an account

Well, I can still use Smartflix to watch things outside my region

Not sure if it's the same thing with the 3DS. Never tried, screen is too small.

Not sure if there is some kind of trial time, I imagine there is. I don't really use Netflix xD
