Keep it up!
Very impressive work here.
The one I used was "Earthbound Zero (Demiforce v1.01-2 Hack).nes". Eathbound Zero is a hack of the unreleased English version of Mother. "Earthbound (Prototype) (U).nes" is the unhacked version. AFAIK, the translation was only mostly finished, so Demiforce just finished the job.Another World said:just to be sure here are you guys talking about Mother (J).nes or Earth Bound (Prototype) (U).nes? Mother isn't in the original list because it is completly in Japanese so I did not toy with it at all.
pizzapasta did originally say Earth Bound Zero, which is Mother.

I'd imagine that this workaround would apply to any version of the game that freezes when you start a new game, but I've only tested the one rom.
Not a chance, don't even think about it.Topfragger said:wonder what the chances are of PS1 emulation....
Are you using the PAL version, or the NTSC version? NesDS plays the PAL version at 60 FPS, which should actually run at 50 FPS. If you want a proper 60 FPS download the NTSC versionTopfragger said:This emulator can't run Super Mario Bros properly which is pathetic.
whats the problem you might ask? it runs overclocked which kills the handling of the game.
and to the maker of NESDS please get it Fixshhhhhhhd! because what good is a NES emulator if it can't run the NES's number 1 classic?
the framerate needs to be fixed so its slower and more normal
I did? Oh.Topfragger said:what you said contradicted itself =|
Even if he did, he is right in that the problem is on your end. Get a (JU) version of the game and it will run at normal speed. Also make sure you don't get a bad dump of the game, or else it will start at world 0-1 (yes, 0-1, not the minus world) instead of the normal 1-1. While you can fix this by holding A while pressing Start, the better solution is to get a verified good dump of the game.Topfragger said:what you said contradicted itself =|
You are too much! Try a Duck Hunt/Mario Bros Rom. That's what I use and I see no problems. The EU Rom is not the only unhacked rom in existance.Topfragger said:Uh there IS no other version anywhere on the net, Unless you want Mariobros.NES which is actually a rom thats been hacked with a shitty underwater level that ends the game at the end.
the European version is the only working ROM in existence as far as knowledge is concerned.
Every ROM site on the net except one gives you Mariobros.NES under Super Mario Bros
which is the hacked rom thats full of shit, only one site had a proper rom that was Super Mario Bros1.NES
