Thanks G just what i needed

Is there a way to do this withour fumbeling around. Like just in the atmosphere patches, just like a translation patch works?

Just want to get rid of the grey sidebars.

If you're talking about the NSO gradient background, just disable the Background by editing the sysmain.scn.

was wondering this too but I guess we are waiting for DarkAkuma to post the mods which he claims is not important since he doesn't like how the wide screen looks..

forget that sucker, a user named hackerman has got the mod, take a look in the forum

Hi, it's very interresting thing !! Wow i really need this !
But i cant find the file "sysmain.scn" in the folder. I already added some games to the SNES NSO, so i have all it needed in atmosphere/content/... and also the exef patch.
Where can i find them ?

Thanks, best regards
How did you get that file? I tried to extract it with nxdump , but when I place the file in it´s place, even when no modification is done, the app stucks at the red initial screen. I just want to be able to use an overlay I´ve done already.

Nevermind, it´s working now, I didn´t check the updates option in nxdumptool , however, now when I put the values you mentioned on the first post, i get a black screen when I load any game, it sounds, but just get that image i´m attaching.

I struggled through this yesterday but finally got it working. I thought I'd share all the necessary files in case it might be helpful to others. This config keeps the 4:3 aspect ratio, gets rid of the grey bars, removes the black bars on the top and bottom, and removes the player icon.

Just copy these into their corresponding directories, (create the directories if they don't exist):

\atmosphere\contents\01008D300C50C000\romfs\bootapp\resources\prefabs\sys\sysuserinfolist.scn
\atmosphere\contents\01008D300C50C000\romfs\bootapp\resources\scenes\sys\sysmain.scn

do you have something that would allow to use overlays and remove the player icon for NES by any chance?

Anyone have the no background/ no profile pic for NES, N64 and Genesis? All links are dead and I would be eternally grateful for them TOT

edit: Got SNES thanks to thedigitel <3

I‘m looking for „Genesis Pixel Perfect Mod / Included profile and background icon removal" from AlanLC.
Does anybody have it ?

Hi, could this be done, but for the N64 and GBA NSO Apps?
(No Grey Bars, no Player Icon, 4:3 Aspect Ratio)

Or can I use these Files directly on those Apps too??
I’m in Vacation so I can’t really edit files, I can only FTP Files from my Phone to the hacked Switch so if you have the Time, could make the Files for me? (I could make them when I have access to my Computer Again, unless it's doable on an Android Phone, since, it's just Text...
