NES in Germany.

The European NES was first released in 1 September 1986. Which is first stores in Germany sell this? Newspaper ad, magazine ad, store ad, or tv commercial exist? I can't find on internet and i don't know German langauge!

That's an interesting question. Nintendo Europe didn't exist until 1990 I think... here in the UK, until that year, Mattel released the NES - and we didn't get the machine until 1988 (...yeah I had to wiki that!), but there's little info as to who, and to which stores, released it in the earlier mainland Europe launch. Videogames simply weren't that big a thing back then, and neither was the razzmatazz, etc, of console launches.. good luck finding out about it though!

Hello.

In Europe/Austria was FIRMA STADLBAUER the FIRST who was interested in Nintendo stuff (in the early seventies)
And since 1979 the ONLY Nintendo general importer.
Until Nintendo settled down in Europe.

I still can't find on yahoo and timeline of the nes console, accesories & game in germany made me confuse.

It only launched in 1988 in the UK, and again I don't know what it launched with!
Easy enough to find the US launch of course, but as there was a Nintendo of America it's not hard to see why that info is easier to find.

So again, no idea sorry...

Maybe the MEDIA MARKT was a potential seller.It holds about 10 Markets in Germany in 1985.
Also SATURN-HANSA (at the 80s NOT in the Meda-Saturn company,later in 1990 they was acquired by the Media Markt Holding group).
KARSTADT/KAUFHOF for what i remember sold as well electronics.

The Swedish NES Release schedule is wrong because NES Gun.smoke was only released UK and EEC as Europe.
And these box back and games in Europe are English!
