how many roms can i put on my a flash cart for nesds? i have the cyclo ds evolution.

when i try to load it it freeze's on me and my mirco sd card is a 4gb if that does matter...

i also have the latest frimware also...

and i have 217 roms do i need less or what? please let me know asap

Not sure if there's a file limit for NES files but you could start by dividing them up into smaller batches in a couple different folders. See if that helps, let us know either way (I keep meaning to put more NES games onto my Cyclo, thanks for the reminder.

I don't know if there's any specific limit, but like Trauma said, it would take 3 minutes to try it yourself and see if having tons of games is what's causing your issues.

Also try using a non-SDHC card if you have one.

217? Amazing. You've got me thinking I should beef up my NES libary...

It's probable that it might be the number of roms in your card.

There isn't a file limit. I downloaded a torrent with every nes game to date on it, and threw it in my NES folder. It takes maybe a second longer than other files to load, but it's pretty damn awesome to have an entire collection of nes games on my ds.

I have about 400 nes roms in a single folder on the root of the card. They should be in a folder, unzipped, and not just sitting in the root. Assuming you have the latest nesds, you shouldn't have any problems. You could probably have over 1000 nes roms without any problems, so the prob. isn't there being too many roms.

odd... i got the latestest and i saw the compitaly list so i lowerd it down to 91 and it loads fine... but meh that's just me...
