Hey, so since Neos isn't making a thread, and they stated that it is acceptable to make one, I decided to start one here.

This thread is a great place to discuss what you like, dislike, and give feedback. I will be tweeting them about this thread, and hopefully they will take notice as this is where most of the user base is found. I will keep this post updated with the latest news.

Things to note (Issues I have personally encountered and issues I have seen others have):
The current change logs are very vague for the release.
You are able to play online and locally with others as long as they have the same mods as you (excluding anything purely cosmetic).
Slower SD cards may have desync issues when using saltySD and emuNAND (I only tested on my o3ds with a class 4 sd card in a local game, there was one desync in about 6-8 battles).
If you have issues downloading and extracting the mod, try the download without bgm.
Replays taken with this mod will be broken on an unmodified game, and replays taken from an unmodified game will be broken.

Haven't looked at smash 3ds modding in a while, how did he change the physics, chaingrabbing, etc? What has changed since May?
 
downloaded this day one,and its pretty ok. so far I've noticed that falco has a weird glitch were you can repeatedly press down B and he'll multishine
 
you sure? its just so weird that you can cancel the shine immediately, but I guess that's to replicate the original multishine tech
they just haven't yet figured out how to make something only jump-cancellable but not move-cancellable.
 
Anybody else notice the terrible job they did with Shulk? His counter feels even longer, his hit-boxes got even bigger, and his spike lasts for a few seconds, meaning you can just chuck it out and it will catch recoveries easily. What's more amusing is that the landing lag reduction was a massive buff to him itself.

There's a extremely large difference between buffing a character, and buffing them well. If Jigglypuff got a buff that added 10% damage to rollout, and nothing else was touched, would you consider that a good change, just because the character is bad? Shulk needs buffs not to his strengths, such as his counter length and range, but to his shortcomings, such as his poor down smash or shield making him so easy to gimp it's sometimes not even worth using.

Also, Shulk is perceived to be worse than he really is. He isn't great, but he definitely isn't awful.
 
Why am I banned from the discord? I was explaining that I had a bug in which Mario appeared thrice as a new character (random fighter) after battling a CPU, I couldn't finish my sentence before I was banned

And you seem to be unable to read. Jigglypuff in Neos was obviously buffed much more than a few percents on neutral special, that example was to give a comparison point to what i was saying. If the buff is pointless and doesn't really do much for the character, it's not worth making. Neos does almost nothing worthwhile to Shulk besides the landing lag reduction, which is standard among the entire cast.

tbh I don't expect any mods first release to be 1:1 Project M balancing.
heck even the last build of Melee43ds didn't have good balancing

I have a problem.
Neos dont work with SaltySD, kust blacks screens. Thé others mods works, but mot this mod.
