Neos doesn't require you to install anything, only cfw (luma is the simplest, but corbenik can be done with L+R+Select in smash-selector) and a saltysd code.bin. It is only recommended to use smash-selector to make it easier to download the code.bins and switch folders.

You just need to find a code.bin (there are a few downloads in various places), rename it to the title id of the game and region you are using, and put it in /luma/code_sections/
