Is there plans for NeoGamma to have the ability to use an optional cIOS to boot games, it seems there are a few games that require cIOSx rev20 with a base of 57 installed, to get the microphone recognized? Or can NeoGamma be patched for that?

Do these games regulary use IOS57? If yes, i will consider adding an option to load IOS248 for games that request IOS57. So there's nothing to configure in that case.

Is there any chance you'll include multiple cIOS support (slots 248 [base 57], 249 [base 56] and 250 [base 38])? I think with all these threads about COD Black Ops is very clear that the games that use USB microphones depend on a cIOS with base 57, and it would be cool if you implement compatibility with these three slots on NeoGamma (please note I'm not asking for an IOS selector, but a cIOS one).

I think those three slots are enough, really.

I agree, I think at least one more slot will be needed, but adding a few slots may take care of future problems. CFG has the ability to load from 247, 248, 249, 250 (cough *and the hermes slots too*)

Yeah, that was my point. However, I think WiiPower said the Hermes' cIOS doesn't work very well with NeoGamma, but still having compatibility for those three Waninkoko slots would be neat, specially because the cIOSX rev21 Installer is gonna be released anytime soon.

I should have not mentioned Herems, I was not implying that NeoGamma should support Hermes cIOS. It would be nice to have a loader that made use of only one cIOS, I cannot even remember what I have installed to slot 247 and 248.

A valid game image written on the disc. Well the best way to find out if this is the reason why GC backup launching is not working at all is to create a clean new dump from a retail disc with SuperDump. Multi game discs are valid discs, but i can only say that the multi game discs created with the tool linked in this thread work for sure

I was wondering if Wiipower recommends using CleanRip to dump a GC ISO? Even though I already have my GC games on backup, I never know when I'm going to get more games from the used game store. I did rip one GC game and CleanRip worked fine.

There's no reason anymore to stick with superdump. CleanRip works perfectly fine.

Bump.

Why this feature can't be added to NeoGamma

?

After a round of updates across the summer, things seem to have slowed down with development of Neogamma,
So I have a request/question for future release's.

Would it be possible to display on screen the banner for each game when loading a multidisc rather than the text title?

Hi:

I have two Nyko Wand and both works fine but
my Nyko Wand+ don't works with NeoGamma
it's never reconnect after start.

any help?

Here are my test results:
unpatched Metroid Prime Trilogy [PAL]
IOS reload block set to no - wii restarts after selecting game and difficulty
IOS reload block set to method 1 - won't load after selecting game and difficulty
IOS reload block set to method 2 - 002 error

Same results with cIOSX rev21..
no 002 error fix in the IOS reload block

hey guys finally i found out a guide wich lets you run metroid trilogy without dol method. only dvd now you can play metroid games (including mp2 multiplayer) without the half green screen & reboot. it worked for me 100% in my wii system 3.2u + cios rev 21 on ios 58 + neogamma r9 b47 and ntsc-u dvd5 version of MPT. Check the metroid mpt dvd5 post i wrote it there: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Backup_Launcher_v3#M

sorry for my english it is good but im not 100% english Spoken.

and a question, when will be a new relase of neogamma, and stills crash wrath cortex working wihtout sound?

I'm having a problem with GC backup loading, I'm trying to load a multiISO disc with the same tool posted. I installed the correct cIOS (it says cIOS56rev20 slot 249 in the bottom of Neogamma), I installed the wiigator's cMIOS and the disc boots up fine. But then it comes up to the multiISO menu, says it's loading the disc, but then goes back to the multiISO main menu. I have the option to load the disc but then it just does the same thing again. Has anybody else had the same problem? I think it might be a problem with my .iso.

If it helps, I put Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes disc 1 and 2, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the multiISO image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read the mini Faq from the 1st post in this thread. It sounds like you are not using the internal GC mode and/or have a wrong cMIOS installed. If everything is correct, you will need to select which game to load while still in wii mode, while there's still NeoGamma on screen.

Okay, I made sure everything was set up correctly, and I looked through the Neogamma options but I don't see any way to choose which game to load.

EDIT: I'm just going to burn single isos on DVDs then, I would just like to confirm if it's the image or not in case I'd just be wasting a disc.

EDIT 2: which IOS should I choose to load when I install the Wiigator's cMIOS? Maybe that's my problem. BTW disregard the first question, you meant that once everything is correct it'll prompt me to choose which game to load. Thanks.
