oh i did make a boot for switching to neek2o, already yes. it has the boot odcd passed not to long ago.. it goes on your sd card in apps just like a normal channel.
thanks you made this much easyer.http://www.mediafire.com/?x3j1ij4f5xoa70c

Works for me in UNEEK+DI (using a nearly virgin 4.3U NAND). So it's either an issue with your NAND or with Neek2o

NAND dump on "nands" folder will not work until nandconfig is created (clean install). you need a working NAND first on the root of the drive then let neek generate one, once you loaded to System Menu, you can delete the rest of the nands in root folder.

Overjoy and obcd said that it boot the nands inside nands folder but it wont work. The bootmii returns with a blinking light on Wii.

it seems to be working after 4-5 "Hard Resets", I wonder why though. But it immediately works if you have a nand on root.

Probably yes. Overjoy posted a boot.dol to launch uneek2o. You will need to change the sd:/bootmii folder contents back to the bootmii ones.
If you launch the homebrew boot.dol, it will boot into neek2o. It doesn't need bootmii/armboot.bin anymore.
Where is the file being hosted or can we get a link to this .dol?

i found a bug. if i switch the nand and then i want to turn off the wii, the controller looses the connection. if i want to reconnect the controller again, it failed.

Could you please give a little more information?

Isn't it normal that the controller looses connection when you switch off the wii?

From where do you switch it off?
What application is running at that moment?
Do you use the controller power button or the wii one?
Have you synced the controller on both nands?
Are there major differences between those nands like the region, one being modmii created and the other being a real nand image?

Isn't it normal that the controller looses connection when you switch off the wii? otherwise no problem with the controller.

From where do you switch it off? system menu (4.3)
What application is running at that moment? no app is/was running. i switch the nand and then i want to turn off the wii directly.
Do you use the controller power button or the wii one? i use the controller power button
Have you synced the controller on both nands? yes, because both (pal) nands are a dump of my real nand.
Are there major differences between those nands like the region, one being modmii created and the other being a real nand image? no, i dont use a modmii nand, because the trouble with the switching.

EDIT: the problem is only if i switch from nand1 to nand2 and then back to nand1 directly. now the wii freezed, if i will turn the wii off with the controller power button.

do you need the eslog.txt?

Just to say I am absolutely loving neek2o - a work of genius from all involved. Thanks.

What's the best way of adding Wiiware/VC to the emulated nand ? Is it safe to do add loads at a time via ShowMiiWads ? Does mighty channels (or is there something that does the same thing) work in uneek ? Or if not, is it possible to get round the default number of channels limit with an emulated nand (though I assume the more channels installed, the slower neek2o takes to start).

I added some VC games with ShowMiiWads and they work fine.

Also some people asked me if I could add custom title support. Well the module already has support for this. Just download a titles.txt file from GameTDB.com in any language and put it in the /sneek folder. After that just rebuild the cache. If there's an updated file available just repeat the steps above and it will update the titles config file

Showmiiwads is the best way to add a bunch of them at the same time.

I'm not sure if mighty channels work, but it's probably fine (remember: you have to tell it to use the real nand). Postloader definately works.

It's also a myth that a nand (real or emulated) has a limited amount of channels. The only thing that is limited is the amount of channels that can be displayed on the system menu (48). Well...and the amount of free space, obviously. In any case: using postloader, mighty channels (if it works) or joyflow will work fine. You can even use the system channel, if you use something like snort48+ to tell it which channels to display on the system menu and which ones to hide.

This looks great!!

I have a wbfs format drive with a load of games on. I used Wii backup manager to copy one out to a .wbfs file and then copied the file directly onto a fat32 drive under a folder called wbfs. I can't get the game to show up. I have tried to delete the diconfig.bin file but the wii then hangs on boot, reset then comes up. Tried to clear the cache form the menu and waited for 10 minutes but just sat there beeping at me.

I built the nand and Sneek from Modmii.

any ideas?

Cheers.

SNEEK has no support for wbfs. Try ModMii 4.7.6 and make it build neek2o

Sorry the way I worded it. Yes I did use 4.7.6 with neek2o. I'll try and convert a clean image. How long should it take to clear cache for say 10 games roughly?

From the txt file

UNEEK+DI NEEK2O rev4

Thanks.

Can you configure Internet with neek2o??? cause I cant
I never got any problem with Internet configuration in previous uneek+di. My previous uneek+di 168 is working fine with Internet Configuration.

thx and Great work guys

Say...have there been any very recent region changes?

All the games I submitted "working only on NTSC nand" in the beta phase now seem to work on a PAL nand as well. :P

Ok so I got it working with ModMii 4.3 nand and I manually created the proper files for neek2o.

I read people asking about covers and I see an option for this as well; how do I go about downloading covers; can this be done through the Wii or will I need to transfer them from pc?
I also would like to know if we are limited to just using nand1, nand2, etc. since Postloader3 detects pl_us, pl_jp, etc. can we just use this as a bases or will neek2o not recognize it?
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: neek2o seems to have problems setting up a network connections Error Code: 110213 There is a problem with the WiiConnect24 service Please try again later.

I will try and copy cert.sys later but just wanted to let you guys know.
