Hi all,
I have a faulty Oled that doesn't turn on or take a charge.
Compared to my Mariko boards, the voltage drop on the Vsys line is very low @ 0.08 but nothing heats up when I inject voltage. When I tried to turn it on w Retrosix's method using a bench powersupply, it would take up to 0.3-0.4a but then drop to 0 after 5-10 seconds.
I then replaced the max77620 chip as thought I saw signs of liquid damage in that area and now when I try to boot it'll take up to 0.3a but then hang at 0.13a. (not sure if this is an improvement over what I had previously)
Could someone with a working Oled Switch confirm the voltage drop I should be seeing on Vsys. Please see image below of where I'm taking the reading: (coil next to the BQ chip)
Could someone also confirm the voltages I should be seeing around the max77812 ic. I believe the two voltages I'm reading on the inductors are input voltages.
Any help is appreciated!
THanks
