Ok, after I hacked my PSP and got CFW (4.01 M33-2) the controls changed like from "X-Confirm" to "O-Confirm" now X is to go back. This happened right after i finished modding, does anyone know how to change it back?

You have to turn the PSP completely off, meaning to hold the Power switch for a few seconds. Just one slide up sends it into Sleep Mode. Then hold R as you turn it on. Not sure if this is your problem, but it's something I never knew about for a while.

EDIT: Just checked. It's in the Recovery Menu, under Registry Hacks.

Just press Select and restart system, make sure you are holding R while you push the button.

Happy hacking!

Oh, thank you guys so much. I was wondering how to do that. I just had to hold the switch longer. Thanks.

Happy to be of service.

QUOTE(Sir-Fritz @ Aug 16 2008, 03:17 AM) IMO they should have made it much easier to properly turn a psp off in the first place. Having to hold it for more than 2 seconds feels seems strange.
I agree somewhat, although that sleep function is incredible. You can stop playing any game at any time. That is incredibly useful for a handheld.

the difference between the ds sleep and psp sleep is the psp wont die after a few hours and can last days where as the ds wont

Please don't spread false info just because you don't like a system.

The DS when in sleep mode can last for a very long time (just like the PSP can). I used to use my DS as an alarm clock (set the clock, put the system in sleep mode, turn the volume all the way up, then went to sleep), even with a low battery (almost to the point where it was red) it would still wake me up in the morning.

But psp's sleep mode last like week or so. Maybe even longer.

Well, the DS Sleep Mode does use much more power if using a flashcard. It can't use as little power because the card has to keep the game in memory (or something like that), so the only thing that gets shut off is the screens. Without a flashcard, though, the two are probably comparable.

Lol, how did this topic change so suddenly

. It would be better to make a newer thread but i guess this is fine. I might as well can change the topic title if you like?
