Hello, i've been pulling my hair for hours, but no matter what, i can't get CFW to boot.
Everything seems fine until booting with hekate, fusee, to CFW, the console always restarts to OFW.
I'm on 6.2 OFW, cleaned up console to factory settings.
I have a few questions:
The jig can be removed when?
Must i disconnect USB cable from PC after payload send?
Have tried either FAT32, exFAT, REINX, Atmosphere 0.8.3, Kosmos, don't have a clue of what i'm doing wrong...

Any ideas, please?

I think so. Have done a NAND backup, my serial corresponds to the ones mentioned. XAJ40045X
EDIT: Yes, i have. Got 0x7000 from TegraRCMSmash

Does the SD card need to be formated on the Switch?
My file structure is only folders and files from Kosmos.

I'm using Win10 x64.
Using Kosmos files only.

I quit for today, always restarts on OFW no matter what...

Oh, i don't have Nintendo account, if that matters. This console never booted CFW before, i don't seem to have exFAT support installed. Been using 128Gb SANDISK card formatted FAT32 with guiformat 32Kb Cluster

You can remove the pin bridging jig once booted into RCM (aka 1 sec after hitting power + vol up)

Must i disconnect USB cable from PC after payload send?
No, you can leave the USB cable plugged in. It can be disconnected after the payload is sent if you would like.

Have tried either FAT32, exFAT
FAT32 is only necessary if you haven't installed the exFAT update with approx firmware 4.1.0. if the switch doesn't complain on boot in OFW and the memory card is exFAT, then you have the update (or your memory card / slot is dead lol).

REINX, Atmosphere 0.8.3, Kosmos, don't have a clue of what i'm doing wrong...
Since you got biskeydump running successfully, your USB drivers are OK. It sounds like the next step is to make sure your microSD card & slot are OK. Get a spare microSD and

Also worth trying to push the payload via Android, but I think your problem is with the SD card or files.

Any ideas, please?

Dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyway. How do you know you're not in CFW? It looks just like OFW except the gallery has been replaced by HBL. Just tap the gallery. What does it do?

Depending on config it open the Homebrew menu. One way I tell is I have a custom theme isntalled on CFW which is my instant giveway if I'm in CFw or OFW

This was a question for OP. I know when I'm in CFW I was just wondering if OP assumed he was in OFW because it looks the same.

Are you sure your booting up too rcm? The screen should stay black once you hit power button + Volume up with the jigg on the right side on the rail... then just send the payload and hekate should boot

I have to sometimes get something to push the paperclip points further from each other, you could try that + pulling them out if the tool is small enough

Thanks for the replies, could be ignorant me, i was expecting atmosphere logo. As soon as i get home, will check on gallery. Never used it before...

It's official, it was ignorant me. Thank you for the help, much appreciated. Been in CFW all along, was hopping to see HBL on start menu or something.
Spot on, Kafluke

oh xd. I use a simple and elegant custom theme so i know if i'm using cfw or not since i have no boot logo when launching cfw.
