I have found a tutorial to get Monster Hunter Tri to work, and it says to download IOS60v6174 fron NUSD but it says it's a stubbed IOS and I thought I read somewhere that installing a stubbed IOS can brick your wii. Is it safe to do this?? I am running 4.2 softmodded wii

I don't see how installing a stubbed IOS would add any functionality at all anyways, but you get bricked when you install a stubbed system menu IOS when you're on the system menu that uses that IOS.

IOS60 is used by system menu 4.0 and 4.1. On 4.2 IOS70 is used.
