Hacking Need help with NtrBoot

I have an old 3ds and luma on firmware 11.4 and no matter what i do i can't seem to get NTR to work I always get the error firmware unknown any help? the closest i've gotten is with ntrselector mode 3 which flashes blue but when i launch the game it wont open the cheat menu

NTRboot is a method of installing boot9strap and custom firmware on a 3DS system with a compatible DS flashcart.

BootNTR Selector is some sort of custom firmware plugin for tweaking games in how they play on the fly. (I don't know. I have no experience with this homebrew).
