I am currently using my SX pro, however, I want to update so I can play my legit copy of smash online. So far, there has been no ETA on the new update for the SX pro, so I'm thinking of updating my Switch without it. I was wondering if I could just update my emunand and keep my current firmware on my sysnand, or would I have to update my sysnand. Also, if I update, would it prevent me from ever using the sx pro again even when the new version comes out?

Update sysnand with ChoidujourNX to 6.2 if you want to go online.

Use autoRCM to avoid burning fuses.

Leave emuNAND on what it is on.

Accept this as a temporary solution. You will lose sleep mode in emunand until SXOS updates.

But you can easily downgrade if you do not burn your fuses.

Would using ChoidujorNX have ban risks? Also, is there a guide I can follow for the steps above? Dont want to risk messing up and bricking the system. Thank you

Ban risks? I`d say no. I am not banned yet on any of the 3 consoles in this house.

Bans tend to come from mismatched error logs and fake tickets. As well as other stuff.
