Hello All,

Not sure if I can ask this questions, but how do I go about files with multiple .R01, .R02 files. I know i should not over write them, but do I need to merge them together and what tools?

Thanks

these are part of a RAR set, .rar often the first file followed by .r01, .r02 etc. You need a program like WinRAR to extract the files from the set.

Each file in the Rar is the same name. I guess I need to somehow appened.
Can you elaborate more?
Thank you

Put the .rar file and all of the .rXX files in the same folder somewhere on your hard disk. If they are in a zip file you should extract them from the zip. Open any of the files in WinRAR.

As long as the .rar file and all of the .rXX files are present, and in the same folder, it will work just like a standard RAR archive.

Sorry for my stupidity, but each rxx has the same file name and it ask if I want to overwrite when extracting. If I say yes then whatever my last file is will be my final .NDS file. Am I making sense?

Thank you ,

Just extract the (filename).rar file. WinRAR should automatically recognize the rest of the files and merge them automatically. Then you'll have your nds file.

If you are using WinRAR then it shouldn't be asking to overwrite the .nds file. If the folder already has a .nfo or .jpg or some other file it might be asking to overwrite those if they are inside the rarset as well.

I just through: You arn't trying to unrar each of the .r## files are you? Only need to do it once on the first .rar file and like it was mentioned above, WinRAR will automatiically detect the other .r## files and extract the complete file.

I was trying to Unrar all .r** files. What would be the first file to unrar?
The .rar or .R00?

Thanks all. Have a Great New Year
