Hardware Need help Replacing 3DS XL touch screen

Hey everyone new here, thought I'd ask here since I've stumbled across this site a few times and found it to be helpful. I'm looking to replace the touch screen on my 3ds as it's really scratched. Has anyone here had experience with this issue? thanks

I've recently just re built a 3DS XL, it's not too hard as long as your extremely careful not to break the touch screen connector.

not sure if you will of already ordered the parts, but you can just replace the digitizer if the LCD is still working correctly, its much cheaper than replacing the whole thing

replacing the screen/digitizer is pretty easy if your used to doing stuff like that.....one word of warning would be careful removing and re-inserting the top LCD ribbon cables, its much easier if you open the 3ds out so its lying flat as they will have more "give" to get them inserted properly so less chance of tearing them
