Gaming NEED help Real bad...

Hi,


I have An r4 but When i play some games it says " data could not be opened" or the " save file cannot be opened"
This Happens when the game loads is there any Solution for this

Maybe not enough room on r4..

Never happened to me, but Have you put the .nds files, not the rar files on your flashcart..

Be more specific..

What firmware??

What Mini SD??

What Games??

How your cart is set up??

etc..

Just a few points to help us figure it out..

More then likly as with most cases you failed to upgrade your firmware to the latest 1.18.......

Seems to be a few of recent games having issues on R4 (even using latest firmware 1.18).

Ones I have noticed lately:
1. The Incredible Hulk
2. Cake Mania 2
3. New International Track & Field

Patching using Max Crass Method software enables the above 3 games to work.

4. LOL - I cannot get this to transfer to other DS consoles, even though other R4 users can!

Cake Mania 2 doesnt need patching and neither does new international track & field... using them both on my r4, but i dont think i have latest firmware...

Interesting....I wonder if firmware 1.18 has 'created' compatability issues. I'd love to know if this was so, it may be my prob with LOL also.

Is it possible / safe to 'downgrade' firmware?

That's not a response I was hoping for

.....but still, it's strange that both R4s we have (bought at separate times) and both consoles (one new lite & one old phat) have the exact same problems.

Now I'm thinking I should start from scratch...re-format microSD cards, replace firmware file with fresh d/l (?) and see what happens. Outide of that, I can't think what the problem could be.

Despite these small issues, I'm perfectly happy with what I've got, whether LOL, etc works or not.
