Hi friends.
I humbly ask for some advice as my knowledge in the softmodding scence is quite limited.
I have a 4.2 PAL wii with Darkcorp 1.1. I have installed many IOS manually, and I feel that during this process I might have F*cked things up.

Basically what I'm looking for is:
Getting my wii "clean" of every softmod, then I'll do a clean, proper installation following the complete softmod guide.

What would be the best way to do that?

Thanks for the help.

hey if you use modmii stickied at the top of forum here

just tell it that your wii is virgin and follow the guide it gives you you should be able to fix your wii easily
Is there not a Darkcorps uninstaller? Correct me if Im wrong, but doesn't Darkcorps max out alot of IOS versions (including some system ones)? Just telling MM that its a virgin wii could potentially be dangerous and result in a brick?

Thanks scooby74029 That's what I was going to do, but as mentionned by bazamuffin I'm afraid it might be harmful somehow, I don't know if after using Darkcorp my wii can get bricked.

good call i am still a noob so thanks for the correction

i was just trying to help out

Thats what this place is all about dude, we all try to help each other out. Im not too familiar with Darkcorps but I think its more than just a case of run Modmii or MMM. I could be wrong on the uninstaller side of things, in which case some manual removal of Darkcorps and installation of clean IOS's may have to take place

EDIT: Apparently the Darkcorps installation package also comes with an uninstall app

You can just run modmii. Tell it your wii is a virgin and download the extra brick protection.

Eventhough darkcorp maxes out the IOS versions they can be easily overwritten with lower versions easily.

I'll use DarkCorps un-installer.
Once I do that I'll follow your advises and run Modmii and post my results.

Thanks for the help

Don't do that. You take the unnecessary risk of bricking. The chance is extremely low, but why do that? All the "uninstaller" does is just install the latest ios's, which modmii will tell you to do anyways and modmii is so much safer.

Do what you want, but what I am telling you to do is the smarter way of doing it.

Ok I'll just use Modmii then.

EDIT: Everything seems to have worked fine !
