So for more years than I would care to admit I've been trying to install a mod onto a 3ds game. I've given up and tried again a few months later and have been enduring this cycle time and time again. Everyone else on this forum has this locked down and can do this with their eyes closed while handling a red hot frying pan with their feet. So now I'm going to try and create a whole new thread since I can't get help on existing threads. And no doubt people tried to help me on other threads but I'm still here asking for help so don't doubt the people that have tried. If I am in the wrong place just tell me and I'll take this thread down.
My goal is to install the Fire Emblem Gay Awakening mod by UnassumingVenassaur on my Fire Emblem Awakening on the Citra Emulator. I have a decrypted .3ds file and have been unable to extract it so I can just copy and paste all the files in there because apparently it's that easy if I ever make it to that step. I have read as many guides as I can find but exactly nothing has worked. Some of these guides say that I need a XORPADS and I have not found a way to use it in my attempts to extract the .3ds file. I am on the step of extracting this decrypted .3ds file and this is the latest step that I have been stuck in over the years. I have googled what a XORPADS is and have no idea how to use one. So how do I finally extract this file?
If you point me to another guide there's a good chance that I already read and tried that even the guide put up by FriendlyHacker on October 19 and it's still not enough.
