Hi guys, i need help downgrading my 3ds system, the only exploit i have left is menuhax, this is the only option i have right now, For some reason, whenever i try to downgrade from an updater or downgrading software on HB launcher, it shows an error "Failed to load thread on core 1". What does this mean and is it possible to fix this?

Given that you're on 10.1, you have the option of using both browserhax and menuhax. Try both entrypoints to see if one of them gives you better luck than the other. Also, try installing a newer version of menuhax if you haven't done so in a while.

Browserhax does not work on my old 3DS, i tried blocking the nag updates but i was too late, menuhax is my only choice right now

Menuhax is a secondary exploit, last time, i installed it by using Tubehax which does not work anymore sadly

No it's not. If you read the browserhax page you'll see instructions on how to bypass the nag.

And again, update your homebrew launcher and your menuhax if you haven't already.
ok, ill try it again

did that, didn't even work, same error "Failed to load thread on core 1"

That's a common occurrence with the old memchunkhax2. PlaiSys and newer versions of SafeSys all use the more stable memchunkhax2.1. Usually it works in one or two tries on menuhax, which is why I'd advised that you try updating menuhax and your homebrew launcher to the latest versions.

If that doesn't work though then I'm at something of a loss.

Do not do this use PlaiSysUpdater
Does it do something wrong? It seems to be the best of the bunch that I've encountered so far. What alternative would even be better to use?

Ok, now it is saying that the connection had timed out on the yellows8 website for some reason

It says that "the internet browser is currently not working at the time"

Not sure what the issue is there. Usually menuhax works better than browserhax for the downgraders anyway, so maybe you'd be better off continuing to mess with menuhax.

So on that note, have you run the menuhax 2.2 installer yet?

menuhax2.2 installer doesnt work either

That's especially odd, as there's zero reason that it shouldn't work that I can think of. Unless you're supposed to hit uninstall and then reinstall right after.
