ROM Hack [Need Help] Downgrading old Nintendo 3DS XL?

Hi all,

So I've recently got into hacking my Nintendo 3DS so I can fool around with my Animal Crossing:New Leaf world.

However, when looking on Homebrew it seems they don't have the payload for my 3DS version.

I have heard it's possible to downgrade your 3DS, and I would like to do that so I can hack it.

However, I am a complete noob at this and have no clue what or how to do this... can someone help?

Giving a step-by step tutorial would be appreciated, and maybe a link to the cia files I need to download?

By the way, my firmware version is 11.5.

You can't hack a 3DS that's on 11.4/11.5 without an already hacked 3DS. And even if you could, there are no homebrew payloads for 11.4/11.5 O3DS. Also, you can't downgrade if you don't have kernel access.

You need another 3ds o new 3ds that already has cfw. Go to 3ds.guide for more info
