Hardware [Need help] 3D mode malfunction, 3D doesn't go away entirely

So, I have a 3DSXL and everything was working some minutes ago but

I closed the console then came back to see 3D was activated, so I slidedsthe slider down and 3D was gone, after a while I noticed the 3D was on again but the depth of the 3D was very high, then it was medium, then it was minimal and so on, the depth kept changing when I moved the lid a little so I think this is a ribbon problem and not a slider problem (slider doesn't feel soft or out of place)

If I keep the console on a surface the 3D doesn't turn on

Is there a way to confirm if it is a ribbon cable problem?

If it is what can I do?

I know you can force 3D to be off using parental controls but I do play in 3D... and I'd rather have this fixed

Do you have cfw?

If so, download and install 3dsident.
It has a % for the 3d slider, and knowing those numbers may help assess the problem if you are weary to disassemble
