Here's what I recommend for you:
RPG GAMES: play when you have a long time to play
-Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (I know you don't like mario, but this game is just addicting!)
-Castlevania (hack and slash+rpg)
PUZZLE GAMES: most puzzle games are good in short bursts
-Tetris DS (I keep getting schooled online by tetris pros)
-Magnetica (it's good in short bursts, and it's only 4mb after trimming!)
-Zoo Keeper (nice Bejewelled clone but not many
FUN GAMES: play in short bursts
-Wario Ware: Touched! (kinda easy though)
-Bomberman or Bomberman Land Touch! (Land Touch for online play)
GAMES YOU SHOULD JUST GET ANYWAYS : play however you like to
-Clubhouse Games/ 42 All-Time Classics (42 games in 1!)
-Elite Beat Agents (amazing music-action, really big filesize though, 128mb)
-Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (words cannot describe how badly this game kicks ass)
HOMEBREW GAMES (it really depends)
-Breakout DS (good in short bursts)
-Puzzlemaniak (27 puzzle games in 1!)
Keep in mind:
-homebrew is always very small, usually around 1mb, so get tons of homebrew
-before trimming, all ds commercial releases are 8mb, 16mb, 32mb, 64mb, or 128mb. ASH (Archaic Sealed Heat) is the only game so far that is 256mb.
-use
NDSTokyoTrim to trim all your ROMs- it's often less than one second to trim and never deletes anything necessary! By far the best trimmer!
-puzzle games usually have low filesizes. After trimming, the lowest I've seen is Magnetica and Zoo Keeper, both at 4mb.
-games with tons of intense graphics usually have high filesizes
Can you send me a PM on how to trim the roms and what it means or could you lead me to a topic that explains this and what is the name of the Japanese Elite Beat Agents.. Ouendan then ???
